Hi, I’m Liz! I’m an artist and animator, and I’ve been writing The Lawn for over 10 years now.
The Lawn first began as a concept around 2002, filling the margins on my calculus and chemistry homework. In 2005, it began publication in the school newspaper at Cornell University, the Cornell Daily Sun, where it still runs today.
When I’m not busy writing comics or animating (mostly for LEGO these days), I’m usually working on other illustrations, or doing New York Times crosswords. Sometimes I even go outside, for a hike up one of the many mountains in New England, or for a peaceful afternoon of bird-watching.
